Who's that girl??

Most days you can find me snuggling King and Kendrix and watching Curious George. My happy place is at home, cuddling my family, surrounded by plant babies, daydreaming of Hawaii, and drinking a mega pint of cherry coke. I’m a mama and wife first, everything else second. 

I want you to get to know me before you invite me into your lives! If I'm coming onboard for one of the biggest events of your life, or into your home, you need to know who's coming. I LLOOOVVEEEE DIY projects, the beach, sunshine and fresh air on my face, Jesus, pizza, disney, mexican food, crime shows (that don't scare the pants off you), ice cream, painting, and dad jokes. I also run another business, Torain Designs, specializing in wedding and event signage and custom glasses.

I DON'T like - mean people, scary movies, stepping on toys, or driving in the snow.

I grew up looking through A MILLION carefully put together family albums (and SO. MANY. BOXES. of loose photos). My first camera ever was a BRIGHT PINK digital camera that went with me everywhere. But I never felt called to photography until Kyle and I got engaged. Our photographer was a total stranger, but got to know us, became a friend, and brought out the best in our relationship. The whole experience sparked something in my creative heart and I knew I wanted to do the same - Kyle convinced me to buy a (less pink) camera, and here we are. I haven't put it down since.
