Great question! Why wouldn’t a photographer deliver ALL of the photos she takes on a wedding day? If you haven’t already wondered if your photographer is withholding photos from you, you’re welcome for the new anxiety. HOWEVER – HOWEVER – let me put your mind at ease!

No photographer is going to deliver every single image that they take during a wedding. Here are some examples of photos I wouldn’t include –

Duplicates of the same shot

Photos with aggressively incorrect exposure that can’t be saved during editing. This happens! Switching quickly in between lighting scenarios can result in a few under or over exposed photos. We’re constantly monitoring our settings to make sure the photos we take are correctly exposed for our editing.

Unflattering angles – we’ve all been there.

Blurry or unfocused photos that aren’t *artistic*.

On the other hand, here are photos that I deliver in EVERY wedding gallery –

All of the sharp, focused photos from the day

Any blurry photos that are intentional or *artistic*

Candid and posed photos of you, your bridal party, and your family and guests

Detail photos of your venue, special details, florals, rings, etc

Anything else we specifically detail out before the day of! And photos that I would want if it was my wedding – an unique perspective I have from being a bride myself!

All of that make more sense now? Follow along for more tips, tricks, and behind the scenes – and let me know what your next FAQ is!
