Hi friends! If you’ve ever been behind the scenes at a wedding, you know there’s something that always gets forgotten or goes wrong. It’s just how it is. Here is a quick list of things that often get overlooked at weddings.
- Get your ring cleaned! We want that baby to shine and blind everyone
- Make sure you have plenty of food and snacks for your bridal party while you get ready
- Bring pens/sharpies for your guest book
- Put together a little day of kit – small sewing kit, scissors (you always need scissors), headache medicine, deodorant, fashion tape, band-aids, q-tips, extra contacts, etc
- If you have a Polaroid guest book, bring tape and batteries
- Designate someone to collect your cards and gifts at the end of the night
- Designate someone to be the main point of contact for the day (you DO NOT want your phone blowing up all day with people asking you questions)
- Designate someone to take behind the scenes photos (a bridesmaid or maid of honor is perfect for this)
- Designate someone to be the clean up crew if necessary at the end of the night
